A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF SATANTA, KANSAS FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 79-1953 and K.S.A. 79-5001 through K.S.A. 79-5018 as amended, Relating to

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SATANTA, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. By authority of Article Twelve, Section Five, of the constitution of the State of Kansas, the City of Satanta, Kansas does hereby elect to exempt itself from the provisions of K.S.A. 79-1953 and K.S.A. 79-5001 to K.S.A. 79-5018 et seq. as amended which are enactments of the legislature applicable to the City of Satanta, Kansas.

SECTION 2. The provisions of K.S.A. 79-1953 and K.S.A. 79-5001 to K.S.A. 79-5018 and any amendments thereto shall not apply to any taxes levied by the City of Satanta, Kansas.
